摘要: Abstract Background: An increasing incidence of tuberculosis has been observed in the New York City correctional system. Methods: The diagnosis active persons within setting results an investigation, with identification and screening contacts. Results: Thirty-four such investigations past 2 years system, where all inmates are screened for on admission, have resulted overall tuberculin skin test conversion rate 6.74% 1306 inmates.
