摘要: On January 24, 1969, an experiment on the Esro 1/Aurorae satellite recorded a flux over central north pole that at times was factor of 7 greater than seen south pole. This asymmetry is discussed in relation to interplanetary-field direction measured same time by Heos spacecraft, and comparison made with opposite asymmetrical configuration observed Evans Stone (1969) November 2, 1967. From evidence two events it would appear southward interplanetary field plays significant role permitting direct access, while magnitude polarity are determined by, respectively, interplanetary-particle anisotropy ‘toward’ or ‘away’ nature field.
