Cunningham correction factor and accommodation coefficient: Interpretation of Millikan's data

摘要: Abstract A new fit to Millikan's data for the slip correction of spheres is explored, leading Cunningham constants α, β and γ which differ slightly from those in literature. Reinterpretation old with some recently developed theoretical expressions yields a value 0.809 momentum accommodation coefficient.
