摘要: We describe a method for the simulation of growth elongated plant organs, such as seedling roots. By combining midline representation organ on tissue scale and vertex-based cell scale, we obtain multiscale method, which is able to both simulate incorporate cell-scale processes. Equations evolution are obtained, depend cell-wall properties individual cells through appropriate averages over representation. The used deform cellular-scale This permits investigation regulation transport hormone auxin. utility this demonstrated in simulating early stages response root gravity, using template acquired from confocal imaging. Asymmetries concentrations auxin between upper lower sides lead bending midline, reflecting gravitropic response.
