摘要: The presynaptic active zone (AZ) is a specialized site where neurotransmitter release occurs in precisely regulated manner. cytomatrix at the AZ (CAZ)-associated protein CAST and its family member ELKS form large molecular complex regulate by binding other proteins including Bassoon, Piccolo, Munc13-1, RIM1. Here, yeast two-hybrid screening was used to identify Ligand-of-Numb Protein X (LNX) as potential partner for CAST. LNX an interactor of Numb has four PDZ domains. bound both vivo vitro.
