摘要: Abstract The approach to the assessment and management of Large Marine Ecosystems (LMEs) has been subject a series seminal symposia convened at annual meetings American Association for Advancement Science. Since 1995, five module ecosystem-based (EBM) LMEs focus 110 economically developing countries around globe engaged in 22 LMEs. A sum $3.1 billion financial assistance from Global Environment Facility World Bank provided support this global movement towards recovery sustainability LME goods services partnership with several OECD countries, UN agencies, two NGOs. stressors prime concern are nutrient overenrichment climate warming stress projected levels reduced primary productivity located between 30°N 30°S. Successful mitigation actions reducing LMEs, adaptive precautionary protecting fish fisheries high-risk circumglobal belt addressed. paper concludes comments on unity linking science policy advancing toward world’s accordance Rio+20 goals.
