摘要: To investigate the potential use of Jatropha curcas L. seed oil, dried seeds were crushed to release kernels and oil was extracted using Soxhlet apparatus physicochemical characteristics determined standard methods. The physico-chemical showed: yield 42.19%, specific gravity 0.93, saponification value 122.49mgKOH/g, iodine 129.66gI2/100g, acid 1.38mgKOH/g, free fatty 0.74mgKOH/g peroxide 1.55meq/Kg. phytochemical screening showed presence saponins, alkaloids, steroids, terpenoids cardiac glycosides, while tannins, flavonoids phenols absent. From parameters, may be as cooking in cosmetics. In addition, revealed suggested that has pharmacological potentialities.
