摘要: We studied the association between long-term outdoor air pollution and myocardial infarction risk. conducted a case-control study among 25-64 year old men in general population of Kaunas city. Cases were 404 patients with first infarction, treated hospitals over two years controls 1,068 randomly selected without ischemic heart disease. The analysis involved incidence analysis, questionnaire information on risk factors, multivariate logistic regression models. comparison age-adjusted areas different NO2exposure revealed that increased increasing NO2pollution levels, χ2for trend was 4.44, p=0.035. Population attributable 7.1 percent. ratio medium exposure area compared to low 1.20, 95% CI 0.98-1.47, while high it 1.37, 0.91-2.07. observed 55-64 men. Adjustment for age, smoking, blood pressure, stress sexual disorders reduced excess NO2to insignificant meaning, OR=1.11, 95%CI 0.84-1.46. Study results indicated below current guidelines might increase
