摘要: Nitrogen dioxide (NO{sub 2}) is an oxidant gas which contaminates ambient air in many urban and industrial locations, indoor homes with combustion appliances. The Environmental Protection Agency presently regulates NO2 as a criteria pollutant. In spite of decades laboratory, clinical, epidemiological research, the health effects NO{sub 2} exposure on humans are not well understood. toxicological evidence suggests that increased susceptibility to infection, functional deficits from airways, deterioration status persons chronic respiratory conditions, including asthmatics, potential concern.
