摘要: Abstract : A laboratory experiment was conducted in a wave tank to examine macroscale features of breaking over bars and reefs. Submerged triangular- shaped obstacles representing reefs were installed on 1/30 concrete slope cause breaking. Seaward shoreward slopes the varied, as deepwater steepness, which resulted 108 monochromatic tests 12 irregular tests. Empirical expressions determined for properties investigated, included breaker type, height, depth; plunge, splash, penetration distance; vortex area; decay; reflection; runup. Additionally, data acquired from other studies involving plane reanalyzed determine indices plunge distance. Differences found between barred profiles. Plunging collapsing breakers predominate regular waves reefs, whereas spilling occurred slope. The strength return flow altered form. Return strongest if terraced or seaward steep, steepness small. position break point greatly influenced by flow, exerted control depth. Breaker height increase presence strong flow. Plunge distance normalized be shorter than slopes.
