MR images were made of the lumbosacral region, pelvic both femoral and other parts skeleton, according focal lesions scintigraphy. A posterior iliac crest biopsy used as standard reference. present study, scintigraphy MRI showed dissiminated involvement combination both. 53 (84%) results accordance. Pathological signals pathological findings did not always correspond tumorous involvement, shown reflect reactive changes central part skeleton periphery radionuclide extention interpreted compensatory hematopoietic proliferation. The negative predictive value 92% 100%, respectively. When combining examinations, positive increased from 49% 58%, if is accepted gold standard. indicate that investigation simultaneously superior use either methods alone traditional biopsy.
