摘要: The rocks of Middle/Upper Triassic from Southern Brazil (Parana Basin) can be divided in three major and clearly distinct biostratigraphic units the basis to top: 1) Therapsid Cenozone, dominated by Dicynodonts Cynodonts; 2) Rhynchosauria with an expressive presence Rhynchosaurs absence 3) Jachaleria Level, marked Dicynodont Jachaleria. This last one is here proposed as informal unit, once that number fossils collected until now low occurrence this fossil assemblage very restricted. framework similar occurs Argentinean Triassic. Besides, both sedimentary sequences it not observed any evidence significant hiatus between different levels, just a change anastomosed braided fluvial system towards top package.
