摘要: The eczemas represent a common and diverse group of inflammatory skin diseases whose definitions pathogenic mechanisms have often been confused controversial. Since the millennium, fresh approaches are providing better insight. Research has focused much more upon epidermis very relevant signaling pathways that contribute to spongiosis, proliferation, generation proinflammatory factors, differentiation form an effective stratum corneum barrier. A major step in understanding come from solidly confirmed association between filaggrin null mutations ichthyosis vulgaris atopic dermatitis. Similar associations relating protease lipid defects highlighted role barrier disruption allows greater access environmental toxins, microbes, allergens. Animal models beginning predict which such direct perturbation keratinocytes may initiate inflammation condition immune responses irritant contact dermatitis These conceptual shifts nurturing balanced eczema hold hope for prevention efforts specific molecular targeting therapy.
