摘要: Forests perform multiple and intertwined social, economic, environmental functions. Greek forests are complex biotic communities, characterized by trees, encompassing much of the life on Earth. Efficient forest management strategies should be formed to consider future dynamics achieve important objectives such as biodiversity conservation preserving ecological functions countering climate change. have long been threatened a variety destructive agents. The greatest problem for is lack management. In Greece, during past years, serious natural disasters occurred, associated with fires floods that inextricably linked its geographic location, geology, geomorphology, vegetation, prevailing climatic conditions. Hence, restoration ecosystems great importance main issue in Greece. Efforts based earlier empirical techniques, which were later improved, supported scientific research. selection suitable method implementation demands deeper knowledge ecosystem physiology diverse organisms. Moreover, versatile, interscientific approach required, coordinated direction goals restoration, individual actions, utilization research results, usage improvement technologies, well creation, improvement, development infrastructure.
