摘要: We investigate the dynamical condensation process in a magnetized, thermally bistable medium. perform one-dimensional two-fluid numerical simulations that describe neutral and ionized components interstellar medium with purely transverse magnetic fields. find clouds are formed as consequence of thermal instability always have field strength on order few microgauss irrespective initial strength. This shows good agreement measurements diffuse clouds. show analytically final is determined by balance between ambipolar diffusion accumulation due to condensation.
