摘要: The effect of calcium ions on human epidermis was studied using an organ culture system. Acantholysis-like suprabasal cleft formation constantly observed within 12 hours, when normal skin explants were cultured in medium with less than 0.1 mM ions. This change resembled that induced by pemphigus serum light or electron microscopy. greatly enhanced the presence fetal calf and reversed concentrations added back. Pemphigus antigen not reduced explants. inhibited alpha 2-macroglobulin, a proteinase inhibitor wide spectrum. Biochemical study did show apparent glycoproteins epidermal cells. Therefore, it is most likely this phenomenon some proteinase(s) which is(are) released from cells activated at very low ion concentration. Furthermore, system considered to be more useful cell organized epidermis.
