摘要: Global climate change presents unique challenges to the resilience of United States agriculture, and farmers advisors must utilize effective adaptation strategies be both economically environmentally sustainable. This study addresses Midwestern U.S. crop farmers’ beliefs about change, perceived risks from weather climate, attitudes toward that influence their decisions adopt strategies. Analyzing a 2012 survey nearly 5000 corn across 22 Watersheds, we investigate most common risk management strategies, including purchasing additional insurance, implementing conservation practices, adding new technology. belief in anthropogenic perceptions changing patterns, farm adapting are analyzed. Farmers’ own farm, innovation were important determinants adaptation. highlights critical role as well behaviors among agriculturalists. Finally, discuss how these findings could applied increase uptake thus agriculture climate.
