What does employee ownership effectiveness look like? The case of a Canadian-based firm

摘要: Drawing on agency theory, we explore how 30 employees defined ownership effectiveness in a 100 % employee-owned Canadian-based firm. Using qualitative case-study, remarkable similarities were found the factors themselves believed contributed most to effectiveness. Despite differences job roles, emphasized confidence program, participative decision-making, identity, and their organization as family unit. In light of these findings, discuss broader conceptualization employee can be applied for more comprehensive understanding such programs may develop manifest. Copyright © 2016 ASAC. Resume Dans cet article, nous utilisons la theorie de l'agence pour examiner comment employes definissent l'effectivite propriete dans une firme canadienne dont totalite des actions est detenue par les employes. L'analyse cas revele similarites remarquables facteurs auxquels eux-memes attribuent propriete. Quels que soient leurs roles professionnels, ils evoquent confiance le programme d'appropriation, participation aux decisions, l'identite et l'organisation l'entreprise en forme cellule familiale. Nos resultats permettent d'examiner peut appliquer conceptualisation plus large mieux cerner mode creation fonctionnement programmes d'appropriation.
