摘要: Abstract The prevailing paradigm of locoregional chemotherapy has been centred around delivering as close to the tumour possible and in some cases incorporating vascular isolation techniques. Strategically, development these techniques rudimentary without consideration for interdependencies between macrovascular manipulation microvascular effects. This review focuses on how new capabilities offered by recent advances access technology could be exploited facilitate mass fluid transfer (MFT) anticancer agents solid tumours. A haemodynamic model MFT is proposed using physical laws flow, flux, diffusion that describe effects may have upon tumours through blood flow control. Finally, applications this technique several organs are discussed.
