Delayed periprosthetic seroma in a male Poland syndrome patient: A case report.

摘要: RATIONALE Custom-made implant is an accepted treatment option for of chest deformity in Poland syndrome. Unlike the raised concerns and awareness long-term consequences breast implants, complications customized implants special purposes like syndrome has not been reported literature. PATIENT CONCERNS A 44-year-old male with presented to our institution complaining a large bulge fluctuation on right wall. This occurred after 14 years from initial surgery correction wall deformity. Upon failure resolution by multiple aspirations, workup was carried out under suspicion associated malignancy. INTERVENTION Total Capsulectomy removal done. OUTCOMES Histology revealed chronic inflammation fibrosis. Implant-associated malignancy found. He being followed up no signs recurrence. LESSONS For rare cases insertion such as syndrome, delayed workups based implant-associated needed. Surgeon patient education required.
