摘要: The sympathetic nervous system is a main regulator of homeostasis and mediates most its effects via the nine subtypes α1-, α2-, β-adrenergic receptors. Although recent years have witnessed major progress in identification adrenergic receptor with specific cell tissue functions experimental animals, similar for human tissues remains limited. At present, data are available heart, but substantial information regarding urogenital tissues, particularly prostate bladder. discovery role α1A-adrenergic receptors has led to development selective antagonists that effectively treat symptoms without on blood pressure. Hence, α1-adrenergic largely replaced surgery as primary treatment highly prevalent condition benign prostatic hyperplasia. It hoped better phenotyping other will contribute disease states.
