摘要: This article reviews the literature on past cost dynamics of various renewable, fossil fuel and nuclear electricity generation technologies. It identifies 10 different factors which have played key roles in influencing developments according to literature. These are: deployment-induced learning, research, development demonstration (RD&D)-induced knowledge spillovers from other technologies, upsizing, economies manufacturing scale, project changes material labour costs, regulatory changes, limits availability suitable sites. The summarises relevant findings for each these provides an overview indicating impacted also discusses insights gained review a better understanding possible future Finally, research needs, may support developments, are identified.
