摘要: Allergic asthma has increased worldwide in the industrialized countries. This review evaluates whether major groups of indoor chemical exposures possess allergy-promoting (adjuvant) effects; formaldehyde was excluded, because size literature. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are used as an example gases and vapors. The precipitation asthmatic symptoms by VOC is probably levels considerably above typical levels, or VOCs may be a surrogate for exposure to allergens, combustion products dampness. Indoor particles possessed adjuvant effects animal studies humans. Quaternary ammonium com- pounds promoted sensitiza- tion humans occupational settings. use cleaning agents, anionic non-ionic surfactants not considered important effect general population. Regarding phthalate exposures, results from epidemiological were found discordant. There little evidence that chemicals evaluated effects. If buildings kept clean, dry free products, question would it profitable look lifestyle factors non- order abate airway allergy?
