摘要: Multivariate analysis of 15 morphometric cranial characters elucidates the relationship eight groups wolves (Canis lupus) from central North America. The Prince Albert National Park to now (probably) extinct Great Plains wolf (C. l. nubilus) is particular interest. Although are not distinct, with considerable overlap occurring, there meaningful geographic trends. Five basic emerge, in boreal–subalpine forest regions being largest size.
