摘要: This work aimed to study the effect of nitrate (NO3-) on growth and accumulation inorganic organic solutes in maize plants subjected salinity. The experiment was carried out a completely randomized design, with five replications, 2×4 factorial scheme, consisting eight treatments: two salinity levels (NaCl at 0 or 75 mM) four different concentrations NO3- (0.5, 2.5, 5.0 7.5 nutrient solution. dry mass shoots roots reduced by salinity, however, this less evident when were exposed below 2.5 mM. best observed approximate concentration mM NO3-. Na+ Cl- contents increased all organs studied, highest these ions roots. In general, K+ content not severely affected stress. With increase medium, there an improvement absorption ion, leading uptake proline soluble amino acids. Nutritional stress is more limiting plant than salt stress, harmful effects being alleviated adequate nutrition
