摘要: This paper describes a case study devised to quantify the relative contributions of geometric, thermal, contouring, and cutting force errors machined part dimensional errors. Measurements were performed independently evaluate the: (1) quasi-static geometric using laser ball bar; (2) variations in due thermal effects; (3) spindle growth capacitance gage nest; (4) two-dimensional contouring grid plate encoder; (5) surface location error (stable) forced vibrations during cutting. The effects first three components related dimensions homogeneous transformation matrix approach integrated into Monte Carlo simulation. A comparison individual influences these sources showed that was dominant for high-speed machining center/tool-holder combination selected this study.
