摘要: We investigate the optimal conditions for bandgap formation in square-lattice phononic crystal (PnC) slabs composed of a solid matrix with or air inclusions. To ensure sufficient impedance mismatch (key formation) and fabrication amenability, silicon silica were chosen as candidate materials either tungsten Solid-solid PnCs found to exhibit larger bandgaps while relaxing topological constraints compared solid-air all but largest filling fractions. also demonstrate hybridized lattice incorporating both inclusions that further relaxes realizing wide bandgaps.
