摘要: The characteristics of a newly developed 160-mm thick 5083-O aluminum alloy plate have been examined with particular emphasis placed on the through thickness (ST) properties. Elongation in ST direction is higher than for any other available data. fatigue properties are also satisfactory and strength 11 kgf/mm2 at 107 cycles. deep notch test result demonstrates that behaves fully ductile manner even load −196 °C. tendency to microfissuring HAZ very low. All these excellent attributed improved internal soundness material.
