Hemichordate neurulation and the origin of the neural tube

摘要: The evolutionary origins of the chordate neural tube and notochord are unclear. Here authors show expression patterns patterning genes in a hemichordate, which suggest that hemichordate endoderm collar cord might be homologous to tube, respectively.
