摘要: The laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy technique has been extended to provide quantitative analysis of the mass and elemental composition individual, submicrometer micrometer-sized aerosol particles. A two-part approach was used for calibration overall concentration response, characteristic plasma volume, equal 2.5×10−4 cm3. Laboratory results are presented submicrometer-sized particles containing a known magnetite. Additional data fine particulate matter measured in ambient air, including magnesium-containing with an average size 313 nm.
