摘要: Backgroud and Objectives:Oxidative stress is thought to play important role in cardiovascular disease. Thiore- doxin an biomarker for determining the degree of oxidative stress. However, relationship between plasma thioredoxin levels myocardial damage has not been investigated. Subjects Methods:We measured patients suffering with acute infarction who also underwent successful primary angioplasty. We then compared clinical parameters (n=37) order examine oxida- tive damage. Results:The level was significantly related initial WBC count (r=0.349, p<0.05) damage, peak CK (r=0.489, p<0.01), in- crement (r=0.452, p<0.05), MB (r=0.417, increment (r=0.364, p<0.05). divided into two groups according levels. There a significant diffe- rence low high thoiredoxin at (10174.2±3380.4/uL vs 13500±3740.7/uL, respectively; p<0.01) cardiac enzyme, (2565.2±1389.9 IU/L 4045.9±1978.9 IU/L, p=0.02), (2309.6±1351.8 3762.8±2079.7 p=0.03), (208.7±127.5 322.7±146.3 (173.8±128.4 277.7±158.9 p=0.05). Conclusion:High were associated extent Thioredoxin may be used as new surrogate severity infarction. (Korean Circulation J 2006;36:39-45)
