摘要: Due to their out-standing performance (huge bandwidth and high signal quality), optical communications have become the standardized technologies suited for long reach bit-rate communication systems. Nevertheless, traditional incompatibility of CMOS with technology, difficulty all-optical implementation some key functions such as buffering header processing, been hindering application short-range communications. However, advent nanophotonics is paving way approach by enabling compatibility possibility building out micro-and nanoscale components. In this paper, we do a first overview state-of-the-art in graphene silicon nanophotonics, its utilization on-chip multicore processors, then propose hybrid wireless/optical-wired architecture based on both photonic Network-on-Chip (NoC) wireless NoC. The former transferring heavy flows data, latter supporting control plane whole network, carrying light data flows.
