摘要: The effects of previous chronic immobilization stress on the physiological responses male rats to a novel stressor (shock) were studied. Previous exposure reduced adrenocorticotropin (ACTH) and lactate acute without altering response (tail shock). When subjected tail shock, body weight inhibition caused by shock was greater in not previously exposed immobilization, which suggests that there is cross-adaptation between different stressors. However, adaptation impaired immobilization. These data indicate existence stressors might depend variable measured, central nervous system pathways controlling pituitary-adrenal axis being, apparently, resistant cross-adaptation. This lack at certain levels can assure maintenance an adequate unknown environmental stimuli.
