摘要: Summary Objectives Certain practices with a potential risk of hepatitis C virus (HCV) transmission begin early, during adolescence. In 2004, primary prevention interventions targeting adolescents aged 13-17 years attending school in the Alpes-Maritimes region France were conducted by “Reseau Hepatite Ville Hopital Cote d’Azur”. The aim this study was to assess adolescents’ know-ledge about HCV and evaluate impact such interventions. Methods A random sample secondary state schools invited participate study. Before after presenting slide show selected classrooms, investigators asked students complete an anonymous self-administered questionnaire designed their knowledge infection. Results intervention concerned population 2,946 students, mean age 14.4 ± 2.5 years. interventions, 21% had good infection 24% disease contagion. These percentages increased significantly 95% 84% respectively. Knowledge improvement more significant among high whose parents employment. Conclusions Adolescents are poorly informed present enabled contagion, independently gender, geographical area.
