摘要: With the advent of sequencing technology, next-generation (NGS) technology has dramatically revolutionized plant genomics. NGS combined with new software tools enables discovery, validation, and assessment genetic markers on a large scale. Among different systems, simple sequence repeats (SSRs) Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are choice for genetics breeding. SSR have been large-scale characterization germplasm collections, construction maps, QTL identification. Similarly, SNPs most abundant variations higher frequencies throughout genome species. This chapter discusses various available assembly widely focuses SNP marker discovery.
