摘要: Suppressor [32P]phosphoseryl-tRNA, prepared using bovine seryl-tRNA synthetase and ATP:seryl-tRNA phosphotransferase, was mixed with rabbit reticulocyte lysates containing endogenous hemoglobin mRNA having the termination codon UGA (opal). The Chromatographic pattern of lysate on Sephacryl S-200 showed that radioactivity [32P]Pjphosphate in hot trichloroacetic acid-precipitate (phosphoprotein) eluted at position between mature globin subunits. phosphoprotein, obtained by chromatography S-200, moved to corresponding readthrough protein SDS-PAGE. analyses hydrolyzate phosphoprotein presence phosphoserine protein. These results suggest animal opal suppressor tRNA functions vitro transfer (opal) mRNA.
