摘要: In today's highway construction industry, the focus has shifted from building new transportation facilities to resurfacing, rehabilitating and restoring (3R's) those already in existence. These types of projects create a serious disruption normal flow traffic resulting major inconvenience traveling public. Reducing time, thereby mitigating this inconvenience, become emphasis for state agencies throughout United States. past few years, several innovative contracting methods have been introduced into industry. The basic concept these techniques is motivation they provide encouraging contractor work faster, schedule accurately, manage process better. Results research conducted by writers indicate that recent constructed utilizing very successful reducing while only increasing overall costs minimally, if at all. This paper examines advantages disadvantages analyzing data obtained various case studies States abroad.
