摘要: INTRODUCTION Following national recommendations for physical activity, diet, and nonsmoking can reduce both incident recurrent coronary heart disease. Prevalence data about combinations of behaviors are lacking. This study describes the prevalence full adherence to fruit vegetable consumption, among individuals with without disease examines characteristics associated adherence. METHODS We performed a cross-sectional analysis from 2000 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, population-based survey. included respondents cardiovascular module excluded poor health or activity limitations. RESULTS Subjects were most adherent smoking (approximately 80%) less consumption 20% both). Only 5% those 7% all three (P < .01). Among history disease, female sex (odds ratio [OR] 1.47; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.23-1.76), highest age quintile (OR 1.67; CI, 1.28-2.19), more education 2.48; 1.69-3.64), income 1.19; 1.04-1.36) mid-age 3.79; 1.35-10.68), good general 2.05; 1.07-3.94), 1.51; 1.06-2.16) CONCLUSION These demonstrate lack heart-healthy lifestyle sample U.S. adults Full combined is far below any individual behaviors.
