摘要: Fecal analysis was used as an estimator of mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus hemionus) diet composition in 3 contrasting studies with apparently contradictory results. Fecal analysis underestimated shrubs in Study 1, overestimated shrubs in Study 2, and correctly estimated shrubs in Study 3. Forbs were overestimated in Study 1 and underestimated in Study 2.
