摘要: • A 25-year-old man with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and elevated prolactin levels, presumably from a microadenoma of the pituitary gland, was treated bromocriptine mesylate. After three weeks, level had fallen gonadotropin levels shown substantial rise, reaching supraphysiologic by eight eventually returning to normal 15 weeks. The serum testosterone did not rise until after weeks reached maximum When therapy stopped for one week, all indexes returned near pretreatment levels. Within two re-treatment bromocriptine, both rose. These findings suggest that may block secretion luteinizingreleasing hormone, or prevent gland responding it. ( Arch Intern Med 1982;142:146-148)
