摘要: Abstract Zeolitic materials were synthesized from thermally treated sediment by alkali treatment using different NaOH/sediment ratios. Characterization of the was done XRD, FTIR, cation exchange capacity and specific surface area. Use high ratio favored formation zeolite. The potential value zeolitic for retention trivalent chromium water examined. maximum Cr(III) sorption materials, determined a repeated batch equilibration method, ranged 38.9 to 75.8 mg/g which much greater than that (6.3 mg/g). No release sorbed 1.0 M MgCl 2 at pH 7 observed but desorption ionic electrolyte increased with decreasing pH. could completely remove wastewater even in presence Na + Ca 2+ concentrations dose above 2.5 g/L. pH-dependent behavior selectivity material explained hydroxyl sites precipitates.
