摘要: The selective mobilization of fatty acids from white fat cells depends on their molecular structure, in particular the degree unsaturation. present study was designed to examine if release by hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL) vitro i) is influenced amount unsaturation, ii) temperature, and iii) could explain pattern acid notably preferential certain highly unsaturated acids. Recombinant rat human HSL were incubated with a lipid emulsion. hydrolysis 35 individual acids, ranging chain length 12 24 carbon atoms unsaturation 0 6 double bonds measured. Fatty composition released NEFA compared that cell triacylglycerols (TAG), ratio % NEFA/% TAG being defined as relative hydrolysis. differed widely, 0.44 (24:1n-9) 1.49 (18:1n-7) HSL, 0.38 1.67 HSL. No major difference observed between dependent number according length. recombinant decreased but remained robust at 4 degrees C 37 C, some affected. moderately, weakly, mobilized adipose tissue vivo similar close unity vitro. We conclude only slightly affected ability efficiently selectively low temperature reflect cold adaptability for poikilotherms or hibernators when endogenous lipids are needed, selectivity does not fully account mobilization, contribute others.
