摘要: Microsatellite markers were developed for the endangered Brazilian orchid species Cattleya coccinea to describe its genetic diversity and structure support conservation studies. Nine microsatellite loci isolated characterized using an enriched genomic library. All are polymorphic at least in 2 populations sampled, except Cac05 Cac09 Petropolis population. The mean number of alleles per locus was 8.8 between populations. values observed expected heterozygosities 0.541 (ranging from 0 1) 0.639 0.9), respectively. Cross-amplifications performed 7 additional Epidendroideae species, successful 3 Epidendrum secundum, Brasiliorchis gracilis. described herein will be useful further studies evaluating diversity, population dynamics,
