摘要: Chitosan has shown its potential as a non-viral gene carrier and an adsorption enhancer for subsequent drug delivery to cells. These results showed that chitosan acted membrane perturbant. However, there is currently lack of direct experimental evidence this perturbance effect, especially chitosans with low molecular weight (LMW). In report, the interaction between lipid (didodecyl dimethylammonium bromide; DDAB) bilayer (MW) 4200 Da was studied cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy surface plasmon resonance (SPR). A formed by fusion oppositely charged vesicles on mercaptopropionic acid (MPA)-modified gold mimic cell membrane. The LMW could disrupt bilayer, effect seemed be in concentration-dependent manner.
