摘要: 1. The study of living blood cells in slide chambers by phase microscopy and cinemicrography adds useful morphologic, developmental physiologic data complementary to other methods for studying cells. 2. Normal monocytes were characterized flattening fresh serum with minimal ameboid motility, ectoplasmic veils waving the medium, transformation fully developed macrophages 5-7 days. 3. Cells from four patients acute monocytic leukemia (Schilling type) showed only slight differences morphology, development function normal chamber. 4. Monocytoid myelomonocytic (Naegeli type), chamber, resembled those two leukemic reticuloendotheliosis function, but differed (Schilling) leukemia. monocytoid labeled "reticulum" implication that they related primitive hematopoietic reticulum cell. 5. cell chamber monocyte having a coarse nuclear chromatin pattern clumping chromatin, larger numbers varying sized cytoplasmic granules, less ectoplasm, characteristic star-shaped macrophage forms without veils, exhibiting considerable motility as opposed sluggish veil monocyte. 6. Speculation significance has been presented suggestion this precedes blast hematopoiesis. In Naegeli leukemia, unknown factors may cause alterations type released marrow. There also be shifts emphasis between myeloblast pre-myeloblast proliferation which become reflected appearing peripheral blood.
