摘要: Observations were made on viable lymphocytes in 22 specimens of blood from 20 patients to test whether leukemic have distinctive characteristics. Special slide-chambers used this study. The features suggestive were: large chromatin masses, prominent nucleoli, abnormal size cells, flagella-like structures, reduced motility, and an increase the sensitivity inactivated guinea pig sera. An index summarizing these selected correctly 9 7 with chronic lymphocytic or lymphosarcoma-cell leukemia. Distinctive abnormalities living not found 3 who diagnosed lymphosarcoma had normal lymphocyte counts some stained films. Blood 8 infectious mononucleosis, diabetes, hemochromatosis, other diseases identified as non-leukemic. findings obtained study indicate that are characterized by morphologic features, increased heat-inactivated
