摘要: Bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) was performed before and 10 minutes after inhalation challenge with plicatic acid in five patients red cedar asthma. There a significant release of histamine leukotriene E4 into the BAL fluid all challenge. Inhalation methacholine six nonoccupational asthma two subjects without did not result mediators fluid. These studies provide direct evidence that acid-induced bronchoconstriction accompanied by increased levels release, whereas nonimmunologic induction induce such local mediator release. may useful means studying pathogenesis occupational caused exposure to low-molecular-weight compounds.
