摘要: Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is an increasingly recognized problem with a poor prognosis. The aetiology remains unclear. However, many patients date the onset of their disease to recent viral infection, implying that viruses may have potential role in progression. A number studies suggested association between idiopathic and including adenovirus, Epstein-Barr virus hepatitis C. molecular techniques used identifying are extremely sensitive lead erroneous associations being made. This review attempts place into context identification fibrosis.
