摘要: Diabetic nephropathy is now the most prevalent cause of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in western world [1], accounting for approximately 30% all patients entering failure programs [2]. Albeit diabetes single important ESRD United States [3], percentage with requiring replacement therapy European population somewhat lower [4], about 13%, leaving glomerulonephritis and vascular due to hypertension as frequent causes [5]. Approximately one-half related occur NIDDM [6,7].
