摘要: This study aimed to investigate the protective mechanism of Xuebijing injection (XBJ) against heat stroke (HS) in rats. Adult male Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into normal control (NC), saline-treated HS (NS-HS) and XBJ-treated (XBJ-HS) groups. At 47 57 min from initiation stress (42.5-43.5°C), plasma levels certain cytokines [interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6 tumor necrosis factor-α], biochemical indicators (creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase alkaline phosphatase) coagulation (activated partial thromboplastin time, prothrombin fibrinogen degradation products D-dimer) detected, microscopy liver tissue was conducted. after stress, cytokines, NS-HS group significantly higher than those NC (P<0.05). In group, aforementioned indices reduced compared with groups serious cell congestion, nuclear swelling central vein dilation visible, along appearance bubbles tissue. XBJ-HS only a small number congestive cells identified, occasional but no bubbles, which similar observations group. Early intervention treatment XBJ is able reduce systemic inflammatory response activity decrease ischemia injury degree, thus extending survival time HS.
